Jeffrey Meyerson of The Meyerson Law Firm provides a unique and personal approach to business law and estate planning. Taking his “Big Law” experience from time at Gallagher & Kennedy, Fennemore Craig and DLA Piper, he started The Meyerson Law Firm in 2010 to bring his level of corporate and estate planning expertise to small business owners and families in the valley. Recognizing the general view on attorneys, Jeff takes a fresh approach to his law practice by fostering open communication through creative fee structures and building personal and professional relationship with his clients. Known best for not billing clients for short phone calls, Jeff has established himself as an outstanding lawyer that doesn’t seem like a lawyer.
A native of Tucson, Arizona, Jeff graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Physiological Sciences. After graduation, Jeff achieved his childhood dream of becoming a pro-golfer. After a two year stint on mini-tours, Jeff turned in his clubs for leather bound books and the rest is history. In his career, Jeff has represented a diverse portfolio of privately and publicly held companies in a variety of corporate matters including mergers, acquisitions, corporate formation and structuring and estate planning that has ranged to the very basic to the very complicated.
Megan didn’t think she’d ever go to law school until she realized it was the perfect way to fulfill two of her greatest passions: helping people and working her brain.
After receiving a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona, Megan dedicated herself to fundraising development, grant writing, and programs management with the non-profit Society of St. Vincent De Paul. When family life demanded more of her time and attention, Megan transitioned into real estate where she was quite successful but intellectually uninspired.
One day during a continuing education course for real estate contracts, Megan fell into conversation with the attorneys teaching her class who told her about the impressive law school program offered by Arizona State University. Despite her family’s Wildcat loyalty, Megan became an official Sun Devil when she graduated Cum Laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU in 2011.
That same year she began her law career by taking a shot at litigation with a couple of small litigation firms in the East Valley. While she enjoyed some aspects of the work, she quickly realized litigation was not something she saw herself doing long-term.
When she met Jeff, she discovered that she shared his passion for helping clients create an enduring legacy through professional Estate Planning and Business Law. She jumped at the chance to join the team at The Meyerson Law Firm and to take her career in a direction that is more in line with her passions and long-term career goals.
